Some might ask where I find magic. "How can I find magic?" To those who'd ask, I say, I find magic all the time, it comes to me from everywhere, and it will come to you also, will you see it? I find it most often in nature but really you can find it anywhere if you look with your heart and see through your soul. It's obviously in nature's beautiful panorama of the majestic mountain ranges. Even from a faraway distance their power and magic emanates across miles.

In a breathtaking sunset or sunrise too. You'll of course find it in the wonderful trees. In the fantastical knurls and curves and knots and elf caves, in their twisted roots and the rocks below their feet.

You can see it in all the animal beings. It's there waiting for you to really see them for the magical beings they are. I find it with the birds. They're so magical to me. Each one with their own voices singing so happily in the trees or grasses. Sometimes they call out warnings to others of danger approaching or instructions to their peers or offspring. But more often they just sing a happy song. And if you watch and listen they'll sing just for you. And always...always in the waters! Awe my beautiful beloved waters. It's so precious and so beautiful and oh so full of magic. From the grand oceans, and glistening gentle streams to the raging rivers. And especially in a beautiful and powerful waterfall! Even down to a single droplet and even further down to the molecular level. It's so alive and so magical and so very awesome. If you've not seen Masaru Emotos' book on the subject, check it out. I could bask in the glow of that magic all my days too. These are wonderful and mostly easy to find.

But the best magic, the magic that really changes you is found in the littlest things, the things that most people pass by without a glance. Always in a hurry to "get somewhere" or "get something done" thinking about being somewhere else or the next thing on their "to-do" list. Many go out into nature to find the peace and tranquility that it offers so freely but they might only scratch the surface. Never seeing the magic that changes you deep in your soul. That kind of magic has to be searched for, not in a frantic scavenger hunt way but, just in being quiet and listening to and really looking at the nature and beauty surrounding you. It will come to you. You have to slow down and be like a child. Looking in wonder and awe at your surroundings. Move among it, not with any goal in mind but rather as if you are as magical as it is. Because you are! When you can do that the magic shines like a beacon and you'll see it all around you. It's literally everywhere! You'll find it as you watch the bees and butterflies flitting furiously among the colorful flowers. Collecting pollen along their legs and bellies and tasting the wonderful nectar. It's oh so magical, to think about it. You might see it in the tiny furry caterpillar crawling along the rocks. With his tiny antennae leading the way. Or in the millipede that curls into a perfect spiral at your feet as you walk along a path.

It's hiding among the colorful fall leaves swirling and dancing gently to the ground in the cool breeze. It's hidden from first glance, among those fallen leaves and the fanciful ferns, where you'll find the enchantingly magical mushrooms. Each one is so different from the next. Some are bright and colorful, reds, oranges, greens, yellows even blues and purple, and so many colors in between yet others seem to be trying to blend in with gentle earth tones.

Some have stars falling from their caps, like a miniature meteor shower.

Others attach themselves in fans and waves along rocks or trees. These magical beings are even tasty, but be careful. When eaten, some have a powerful magic you might not be ready for. Heehee
These are just a few of the places I find magic. It really is everywhere all you must do is open your heart to it.
Ah, but how do you open your heart, if it is closed? What's keeping it closed? Do you know?
